Kids’ Clubhouse Policies
Our goal is to provide your child with a fun, safe and clean environment for them that will help enrich their lives. We welcome children from 6 weeks to the age of 11. Our caring and friendly staff strives to make you and your child feel comfortable and welcome.
As a member of the Kids’ Clubhouse, your child will receive two hours of care per day. You must remain on the premises during this time in case we need to contact you. There is a fee if you exceed the two hours. Socks or shoes are required at all times.
Security
Safety is very important to us at the Kids’ Clubhouse. A staff member will always greet you and your child and assist in the check-in procedure. If your child has separation anxiety, you are welcome to stay a few minutes to ease the transition. Our database stores all important information about your child to make their stay as enjoyable as possible, such as allergies, medical issues and special needs, along with a list of authorized adults who may pick up your child (parents, grandparents, stepparents, nannies, etc).
Allergies
If your child has an allergy, please notify the staff so it can be properly recorded. For the safety of all the children, we ask that you refrain from bringing peanut products into the Kids’ Clubhouse.
Snacks & Food
Snacks are provided, but we welcome you to bring your own nutritious snacks. Any food you provide must be fully prepared, peanut-free and ready to eat without assisted feeding (squeeze pouches, finger foods). Staff will bottle-feed infants, but if you breastfeed, please try to do so beforehand, as space is limited in the Kids’ Clubhouse. Please refrain from bringing fast food items and full meals with time-sensitive meal schedules. Please label all items.
Diapers and Potty Training
Our staff will change diapers and if your child can independently communicate their needs to our team members, we will help with potty training. If a child is unable to independently communicate their needs, we ask that your child wear a pull-up. We will strive to assist your child but may not be able to commit to a time-sensitive potty-training schedule.
Personal Items
Please leave all personal toys and blankets at home. We encourage you to leave electronics at home.
Preventing Illnesses
To keep all children and staff healthy, we ask parents to keep sick kids at home. While your children visit, their feet should be covered: shoes, sandals, socks or boots are fine. Please label all cups, bottles, bags and any personal items. Please see our sick policy guidelines.
Sick Policy
At times, it is common for childcare teachers and parents to see children take on signs of illness. It is then our responsibility to treat the illness in those children and attempt to prevent others from catching the illness. Because of this, the Kids’ Clubhouse simply cannot accept sick children.
The Kids’ Clubhouse staff does its best to accommodate everyone’s needs, but leaving a sick child at home will ensure that the Kids’ Clubhouse kids are playing with other healthy children and in the care of a healthy staff. For the protection of all, children who are ill or show the following signs of illness should stay at home:
- Child has experienced a low-grade fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat or any other signs of illness
- Child has experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours
- Child stayed home from school due to illness
- Child has a contagious disease
- Constant coughing – severe/obsessive
- Yellowish or greenish mucus discharge from nose
- Mucus discharge and reddening of the eye
- Open sores or rashes
- Child is disoriented, uncomfortable, or lethargic
- Child has been on an antibiotic less than 24 hours
Should a child develop or exhibit any of the above signs of illness while in the Kids’ Clubhouse, the parent will be paged to report to the Kids’ Clubhouse immediately.
It is our goal that with your cooperation, along with our routine disinfecting, sanitizing and hand washing procedures, the chance of an illness spreading in the Kids’ Clubhouse may be greatly reduced.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Class Reservation Policy
At the Wisconsin Athletic Club, we strive to create a fair and welcoming fitness community for all members. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate in our popular Group Fitness Classes, we have implemented a Class Reservation Policy.
Here’s how it works:
- Unregister If You Can’t Attend: If you can no longer attend a reserved class, please unregister in the app to free up your spot for other members.
- Check In to Class: To confirm your attendance, check in through the WAC app or at our class kiosks. You may check in as early as 2 hours before class. Waitlisted members must also check in.
- Arrive on Time: If you check in less than 10 minutes before class, your spot may be given to a waitlisted member who has already checked in.
- Avoid No-Show Warnings: If you do not check in or unregister, you will receive a no-show warning. After two warnings, your ability to register for classes will be paused for 7 days.
This policy ensures that all members have equal access to our classes, even during busy times. Thank you for helping us create a fair and welcoming fitness community!
If you have any questions or believe a suspension was issued in error, please contact your Group Fitness Manager for assistance.
