INTERESTS/HOBBIES:
Along with working with clients, teaching group fitness and Advanced Training classes at the WAC, I teach full-time Health and Wellness education. I am married to my wonderful husband Eric and we have five beautiful children and two grandchildren. Some of my favorite family physical activities are Kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, and hiking with our two dogs Lucy and Nala. Now that I am a grandma, spending time with my two grandsons is at the top of my to-do list as well.
I love spending time with family and friends exercising, playing games, hanging out at camp fires socializing, going for coffee-clutch time, vacationing and having Sunday Funday; as all of these different things “fill my cup”. I am passionate about learning and love planning and instructing different types of workouts for my clients (teens, adults and seniors), Premium training and group fitness formats as I feel each group has their specific needs and I pride myself on my ability to plan and provide engaging differentiated workouts to meet the needs of my clients/groups as they grow and progress as individuals.
PHILOSOPHY:
What do we have if we do not have our health? We are all on our own journey and are a "work in progress"-- so forget comparing yourself to others as our progress will never be the same as someone else. Just set a goal and start taking the steps to achieve it. Stay motivated by tracking your progress. Choose and provide healthy foods to fuel your body, feel great and perform well. We only have one body and one life to live so make it the best one you can by following your passion, surround yourself with people you love, and an environment that brings you joy.
