Under 16 Youth Certification
All youth members between the ages of 12-15 years old wishing to be active on the fitness floor are required to participate in this standardized youth certification course.
The class will be scheduled in one 60-minute session. We will cover fitness basics, including cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, stretching, general fitness floor guidelines and etiquette. Students will receive a certification packet and are required to pass a written (objective) and field (subjective) exam to complete the class and receive access to the fitness floor. Students may schedule multiple sessions if they do not show adequate maturity, knowledge, or expertise on the first try. Junior Privileges will not be granted until both the written and field exam's are passed.
After completing the certification, youth members will receive a junior privileges sticker to place on their membership card.
