PHILOSOPHY:
Ever since I can remember, physical activity has been my life. I grew up watching and playing football, baseball, and basketball since the age of 3. Sports had been everything to me, and as a lot of kids usually do, I had a dream of playing in the MLB. That obviously did not end up happening, but the things I have learned throughout my athletic career, as well as my career in the Army, have really taught me that you get out what you put in.
That really goes with anything in life. If you put in half the effort needed in order to succeed, you're going to get half the results, and end up being disappointed. Growing up as the skinniest kid in school, combined with being a vegetarian even to this day, it was always an uphill battle to put on weight, especially muscle. I know firsthand that it can be frustrating to not see that scale move up or down, or to not be satisfied with how the person in the mirror looks. That is where the determination to make a change comes in. With consistency, proper training, a diet tailored to your goals, and the determination to become a little more proud of yourself every day, you will see change. It won't happen overnight, but as the days, weeks, and months go by–there isn't anything to stop you. Keep your head down, keep moving forward, keep grinding and never stop improving.
