Career/Athletic Achievements

15 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian. Early experience included clinical dietitian positions in mental health inpatient setting, eating disorder specialist inpatient and PHP, and outpatient dietitian work with clients with eating disorders and general nutrition concerns. I have experience teaching and working in group settings with all age groups. Completed instructor training program through the WAC for Pilates.

Philosophy

My goal for my clients is to help them achieve healthy eating habits that can be sustained throughout their lifetime. For that to happen, I believe clients must learn that food can be enjoyable AND healthy. When we focus on nourishing our bodies, not depriving them, the results are wonderful. Nutrition is your base to more energy, strength, great mood, restful sleep, and more.

I love sharing with my clients the science behind how our bodies process and utilize the foods we eat, since very often that part of nutrition is missing in the mainstream information we are given. In addition to the science and nutrition education, I do love getting in a group and cooking together. Its so nice to see people learning from each other and trying new foods and recipes together. Nutrition can be fun and so tasty!
